Death is not just the cessation of biological processes, indeed it is also the cessation of all desires and in particular all yearnings! Del-Barā (My heart throbbing beloved) the yearning and desire for everyone and everything you ever loved shall leave you behind at the very moment of your death, with however one exception:

Allah said: For sure the Shauq (Yearning) of the pious for meeting Me has been prolonged and I have intense yearning to meet them.

Irfan (Unlearnt Intrinsic Knowledge): When Allah takes away a loved one we bemoan this loss and wonder why does Allah take a child or a parent or a beloved away from the lover and the permanent answer and the incurably atomic (indivisible) answer: had the beloved stayed with us his or her 3beloved-ness would have soon ended, with utmost of assurance, we might even turn against that person or that beloved might abuse us in most unfathomable fashion; alas! Allah takes the beloved away, so he or she everlasts as a beloved not just a passing infatuation, for what remains with us shall cease and deplete (even our beloveds) but what is with Allah is everlasting (including our beloveds):

16:96. What (is) with you (all) dwindles away while what (is) with Allah everlasts (Bāq)

And when the sands of this evanescing planet brim-fill our complaining mouths and the sockets of our eyes sated with the dust of one final darkling satiation, for most nothing is left to yearn after or desire for, but fortunate few whether living or un-living yearn for Ān Zibāy-e Āsemāni (That Celestial Beauty) and their primordial yearning outlasts the last of all ends, for they are no longer humans or corps or substances, they are Yearners yearning for the first vernal glance of the Divine Face...

There is no Shauq (Yearning) without knowledge, a lover does not yearn after a non-existing beloved, and once in love the lover must know all that there is to know about the beloved and enrages at the mere thought of someone else knowing something about the beloved beyond his knowledge!

Bāq is the non-destructible exotic substance comprised of yearning and thirsting for knowledge for That Divine Beloved; Bāq is independent of whether the lover is unborn, living or dead, the alien construction materials that craft the post-structures of the Voyager (Salik) after his death, voyaging the endless knowledge(s) and beauties of the Divine Presence in ITs infinite modalities of presence:

Baba Afdhal Kashani
Risala Al-Mufidu Li Al-Mustafid (The Beneficial for The Beneficiary)

“Know that once the human being reaches the said Maqam (Rank) (of spiritual behaviour free of daily greed and aggressive competition and menpleasing and so on), thus his or her Mahab-bat (Divine Love) and Ma’rifat (Unlearnt Knowledge Deep Within) being made proper, has still much further to go; voyaging within the Ghayb (Unseen, Unboservable) seeking the Ghayb (Unseen), since the universe of Haqiqat (Emulation-free Reality of Divine Presence) has no boundaries.

If you had endeavoured for hundreds of  millenniums, struggling seeking after, what you captured (of knowledge) is quite tiny compared to what remains in Bāq:

18:46. Al-Baqiyat (Everlastings) and Al-Salihat (Good Deeds) are valued best with your Lord and Khairun Amalan (best for hope (and yearning))

This Voyage is not possible unless there is no longer ‘you’, you have to cease, for as long as there is you, this fantastic Voyage commences not!”

Remark: Khairun Amalan (best for hope (and yearning)) is the Voyager’s Sextant to find the way towards the horizons of Divine Presence, the skilful use of this navigation tool diverts the person from all forms of depression or equivalently falling into the depression is indicative of improper use or abandonment of Khairun Amalan (best for hope (and yearning)).

Voyage by means of Al-Baqiyat (Everlastings) discovers (Kashf) three territories of Malakut (Spiritual Realm):

1.    ‘Uluhiyat: A Kashf (Uncovering or Discovery) that makes the deeds of any member of creation annulled and obsolete i.e. the real deeds and actions and happenings are that of the Primordial Divine Fā’il (Agent Doer, Allah) and the objects/subjects of these happenings retain only their attributes of being an object/subject; this is the most felicitous state of happiness for a lover who sees his or her beloved in everything and in every incident, (Beloved) masterfully manipulating with infinite precision, for the purpose of caressing the lover by sharing unnumbered many subtle secrets that all happenings are all about being-ness of a Divine Beloved. And the shared secrets are for the purpose of cognizance of Wahdat (Oneness in doing) of an autonomous Divine Fa’il (Agent Doer) i.e. Wahda-Hu La Sharika La-Hu (IT One, No partners for IT); in this rank the soul enrobes the garb of Khilafa (Becoming a Khalifa Divine Deputy) to drink the Wine of Mahab-bat (Divine Love) broiling midst the flaring flames of Shauq (Yearning).

2.    Ilahiyat: The Maqam (Permanent Rank) of Companions of The Pit—Being slaughtered by the scintillating blade of Tajalli (Lucent Manifestations) for the soul to become both Shāhid (Observer) and Mash-hud (Observed), free of being one vs. the other, by means of the Tajalli (Lucent Manifestations) of the Divine Beloved that obliterates any characterization or definition of a lover! Though Lover-ness (being a lover) is done away in this state, however the Dhat (Inmost Core) of the lover still persists, and the latter far happier and more fortunate than that of being a lover, too close to the Beloved to be cognizant of being a lover himself—absolute amnesia.

3.    Allahiyat: Return of all attributes of being a human to ‘Adam (Realm of Non-Being), obliteration eradication annihilation of Servant within the Master, Seeker within the Sought of After, Lover within the Beloved, the Dawning Tajalli (Lucent Manifestations) of The Singleton Beloved’s Divine Dhat (Inmost Core), free of any burden or activity or volition of a lover:  (See Also: http://www.untiredwithloving.org/nadhra.html )

75:22. Faces, that-day, Nādhiratun (Verdant

75:23. Glancing towards ‘her’ Lord

Harbinger of glad tidings, for those with high hopes to continue with acquisition of knowledge well into their graves.
