Sheikh Sa’ded-din Mahmood Bin
Abdul Karim Bin Yahyaa
Shabestari one of the greatest Orafa of Sufism and renown follower of
Ibn Arabi
amongst some of the Sufi luminaries who produced both intellectual and
educational works. He is the second to Molawi in poetry and second to
Ibn Arabi
in prose.
He
was born in 680 (HQ) or 1200 CE in Shabestar a
suburb few miles from the city of Tabriz in Iran. He lived for 53 years
and was
buried, in Shabestar, next to his teacher Sheikh Bahaa od-din Yaqob
Tabrizi.
